    Welcome to our garden!

Welcome to our garden, where my family and I are living our own vegetable adventure right here on our little homestead nestled in the heart of the Kansas prairie!

Kansas, with its beautiful landscapes and unique climate, presents us with a canvas to create our very own garden oasis. As fellow homesteaders, we understand the passion and dedication it takes to cultivate a thriving garden in Garden Zone 6B. It can be a brutal growing zone, I know.  The last frost usually catches us in early May, and then we have a short month to grow as fast as possible before the triple digits arrive in the summer.  It's worth it, though!

Join me as I share our experiences, tips, and tricks for successful gardening in this region. From selecting the right plant varieties that thrive in our zone's cold winters and hot summers to utilizing creative techniques to maximize our yields, I'll cover it all!
