Equipment

  • immersion blender, high-speed blender or food processor
  • air-tight container

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning

Instructions
 

  1. Add both ingredients to a immersion blender, high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.  Add any optional add-ins -- see list below for ideas!

Notes

Storage
Store this dip in an airtight container. Keep it refrigerated and eat within 5 days. Do not freeze.
Variations
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream, Greek yogurt or mayonnaise - makes the texture ultra creamy
  • 1 tablespoon fresh or dried chives or other garden herbs
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar for increased tanginess
  • 1 teaspoon tajin
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ of a finely minced onion - stir in after the dip has blended 
  • ½ tablespoon pickle juice & minced pickle spear - stir in after the dip has blended
