Strawberry red onion spinach and kale salad with cucumbers on a charcuterie board

Balsamic Vinaigrette

This Simple Balsamic Vinaigrette is mildly tangy with just a hint of sweetness. Perfect for a lightly dressed summer salad or drizzled over roasted garden vegetables!

Equipment

  • whisk

Ingredients

  • ¾ tbsp. dijon mustard
  • ¼ C balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ C olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon Italian herbs dried or fresh
  • himalayan salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a mason jar. Shake to combine. Serve immediately over salad greens, or use as a marinade for red meats. I recommend adding a tablespoon of tomato paste if using as a marinade. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for several weeks.
