save money with essential rewards

September 18, 2019 by Meg Leave a Comment

By now you have opened your oils and are loving them. How is everything going? Do you have any questions that I can answer? If so, please chat me up.

Let's dive into Essential Rewards. Even if you did not sign up for this program when you became a member, you can always add it later once you understand how it can benefit you. This is going to be a little technical, so now might be a good time to put some peppermint oil in the diffuser and maybe a drop of frank on your temples!

Essential Rewards is Young Living's monthly wellness box that delivers your oils, supplements, makeup and cleaning products to your door. You choose what is in your box and the day it is processed. The picture below shows one of my orders, plus the free items I received with it.

Let me say that same sentence in a different way: Each month you will customize your order with the items you need, plus you have the option of changing the processing date.

Your Essential Rewards order should look different each month. Just because you need to refill your lavender today, doesn't mean you'll need more in thirty days. For example, I know that I need to order my laundry soap every other month for my family of five.

Young Living will reward your loyalty for placing monthly orders in two ways. First, you will receive a percentage of the Product Value (PV) of your order back! During the first three months you are on Essential Rewards, you will be rewarded with 10% back on your future purchases. Months four through twenty three, it jumps to 20%. Finally, after you have been on Essential Rewards for two years, you will be earning 25% back for future orders! THIS IS SO EXCITING!

Another way that Essential Rewards rewards you is by giving you free products! You will receive loyalty gifts at months three, six, nine and twelve!

Young Living also has monthly Essential Rewards promotions, which will be included FOR FREE with your qualifying order. Usually, these rewards occur at 100PV, 190PV, 250PV and 300PV. I love getting free oils just for purchasing my staple items that I'm going to be buying anyway... might as well get the non-toxic version from Young Living! Check your virtual office for each months freebies!

My family is on a tight budget, maybe you can relate to that? We use Essential Rewards as a way to transfer buy items that are healthier for our family. I love Thieves dish soap, laundry detergent, toothpaste, makeup, shampoos and body washes. Instead of buying these items from target or walmart, I order them through Young Living. You can even order cereal, vitamins, granola and other staples!

This is called Transfer Buying. It simply means that I have stopped buying my staples from other places and instead order them on Essential Rewards. I feel so empowered knowing that my family is not being surrounded by unhealthy chemicals and ingredients.

In exchange, I receive free products for the PV of my order and Young Living gives me a percentage of my order back to use on the fun things, like oils that I want to try or maybe a pricey moisturizer that I wouldn't have bought otherwise. Free things are AWESOME!

Essential Rewards has simplified my lifestyle in so many ways. I no longer have to stand in the supermarket reading ingredient labels and trying to discern what the product actually is made of. If you are interested in learning about the products you use, download the app Think Dirty. You will be shocked, I'm sure. Pretty much anything that smells good is an endocrine disrupter or causes respiratory problems. Yuck. I'm so thankful it's EASY to get healthy products delivered to my door!

So that is Essential Rewards in a nutshell. I know it was quite a bit of information. Are you still with me? Do you have any questions? If so, ask away!

Have a happy day!
