most common questions about oils

October 1, 2019 by Meg Leave a Comment

You’re new to oils! COOL! Let me answer a few common questions you might be thinking. Here is my ultimate guide for the most common questions about oils that seem to pop up often!

HOW DO I EVEN USE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Great question! Thanks for asking (ha!). Each bottle has directions on the label that tell you what is in it and how to apply it. For example, Lavender essential oil can be diffused. I prefer to start with two drops, then work my way up to three or four as I get used to the oil.

It may also be applied topically directly to the skin without dilution (as stated on bottle) or ingested because it also comes in a vitality labeled bottle! Just read the label and follow the directions!

OKAY, I SAID VITALITY LABEL. WHAT IS THAT?

This is so unique and amazing. If you aren’t very familiar with Young Living as a company yet, one thing you are going to figure out real fast is that Young Living is the top essential oil company in the world. No other company even comes close. When it comes to ingesting essential oils, this is absolutely NOT recommended ever… UNLESS it is from the Young Living Vitality line!

These oils are approved by the FDA as being completely safe for internal consumption. This is HUGE! No other company can claim this. No other supplement can be infused with essential oils. Never ingest an oil from amazon or target! Most of those labels will even say not to put them on your skin, which kind of defeats the entire purpose.

When you see a warning on Facebook cautioning about the danger of ingesting essential oils, they are not talking about Young Living. The FDA is behind them 100%. The reason they are safe is because of the Seed to Seal promise which guarantees their oils are 100% pure and contain no chemical fillers.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS SEED TO SEAL PROMISE?

Simply stated, it is the standard that is beyond the standard. It is the heart and soul of young living, and the reason no other company can even come close. Let me just read a summary of it to you from their website:

"We’re committed to establishing and maintaining the ultimate, industry-leading standard in essential oil products. For us, the non-negotiable benchmarks for delivering a product that our customers can feel great about are multifaceted and exacting. We’re proud to offer an extensive line of essential oils and essential oil-infused, plant-based products that represent the best of nature—through the standards of our Seed to Seal program.
Young Living embraces a rigorous quality control standard to help ensure our products meet strict specifications. Seed to Seal is our set of standards that helps ensure that with every pure essential oil and Young Living product your family uses, you’re enjoying the benefits of our global resources, industry leadership, and over two decades of innovation.

The result? A pristine final product that you know has been created with conscientious Sourcing, Science, and Standards—the three pillars of Seed to Seal." As the leader of the essential oils movement, Young Living is paving the way for every other essential oil company to improve processes that protect our planet and ensure the highest quality standards.

WHAT EXACTLY AM I COMMITING TO BY BECOMING A WHOLESALE MEMBER?

The only requirement to becoming a wholesale member is purchasing a premium starter kit of your choosing or adding an item to the SUBSCRIBE & SAVE program. Beyond that, you have absolutely no commitments. No required purchases, monthly fees or selling commitments.

If you are interested in starting your own Young Living business, just being a member equips you with everything you need!

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

EASY! Follow this link and pick out your starter kit or order a bottle of your favorite oil on the SUBSCRIBE & SAVE program. This picture is me with my three leaders. I intentionally joined with Shelbey because I had been watching her business grow and I loved how she was doing it. She obediently follows God and fiercely loves and supports her members.

How to begin a Young Living business

MAYBE I MIGHT POSSIBLY BE INTERESTED IN THE BUSINESS. TELL ME MORE. My business began when I fell in love with using oils. I saw such amazing improvements in my health when I eliminated the toxins in my home and replaced them with healthy alternatives. My friends wanted to try it, too! Here is how it typically works. You use and love the products. You tell someone about it, they ask how they can try it for themselves. A business is born!

Here’s how:
1.) Escort you friends to www.youngliving.com
2.) They click “Become a Member” (located in the upper right)
3.) They enter YOUR member numbers in both boxes (lower right)
4.) They choose which of the premium starter kits they want + check out
5.) You receive a $50 check from YL as a thank you! I add them to our group!

If no one has referred you, I would just LOVE to be your oil girl! Follow my link here and join my team! What other questions do you have?
